  1. This is definitely one of the worst ideas ever go to the Texas legislature. This bill must be abolished. #AbolishStateBill21

  2. The teens of Texas do not need to be protected from tobacco or nicotine products. As 18 year olds they are considered adults in Texas, which therefore means that they have the right to purchase tobacco or nicotine products, people need to stop worrying about the youth and just let them do as they please. Because how else are they going to be able to think for themselves?

  3. Yeah this is f**** freedom here in America huh you can join the military at age 18 risk your life and you have to get shot and kill you can vote at 18

  4. If i can ruin my life by smashing no condom and having a kid at 17 i should be able to ruin it by smoking

  5. One of the silliest bills ever!
They raised the age to 21 for civilians but still 18 for military. Who are supposed to be physically fit to do there duty.
18 is also the legal age for adults.
So an 18yo can't smoke but they can join the military and kill, get tattoos, have kids with no job and maybe ruin their education and future or drive and possibly kill or cause harm to others. But they can't control what goes in there body.
Whatever! Over 18 here and don't care about smoking! It's just crazy how these laws are…

  6. This is big government effecting the free market to push moral agenda. Good job β€œConservatives”

  7. alright i’ve been dipping for 3 year (yeah i was underaged having people buy it for me) but what the fuck am i suppose to do being 18 (LEGALLY ABLE TO SUPPORT MY ADDICTION) a nicotine addict and none of y’all fuckers say quit because it’s easier said than fucking done. i’m 18 fucking years old i’m not going to quit but fucking 18 a legal adult having to have my parents buy my tobacco for me. Just shows the government doesn’t give a fuck.

  8. All because they had there funn and now that they are old they wanna implement shit like that imma run for governor just wait and imma abolish this shit.

  9. If you already 18 than you can still buy the rule doesn’t apply to you if your in military or people born before August 31, 2001. I work at a vape shop, know the actual law before y’all wanna talk shit .

  15. Cant stop no one from ordering tubes and "pipe tobacco" online and rolling their own, much cheaper and less harmful anyway.

  16. I work at a store in Texas and we sell tobacco and this new law is about to blow up in our faces. Everyone is going to be fighting and arguing with us about this shit as if WE (the cashiers) made the law ourselves πŸ™„ I get that they don’t want people to form a bad habit at a young age however if someone is already considered an adult at age 18 they should be allowed to smoke or dip tobacco smh I’m not ready for these kids to be yelling at me because I can’t sell to them if they’re under 21. Pray for us cashiers y’all this shit is ridiculous

  17. But it's still legal for an 18 year old to sign there life away to a bank or financial institution. I think it's time we get rid of these old heads in the legislature. They have their priorities all mixed up. We are not all trying to be puritans.

  18. She just proved her bill so wrong it’s actually hilarious 1:25 β€œthree quarters of adult smokers try their first cigarette before the age of 18.” That literally goes to show no matter what the age is people will still find a way to smoke no matter how old they are. All this did was piss off a shit ton of people and take their rights.

  19. They always wanna talk about how our generation needs to grow up but constantly make laws that treat us as if we're children . But they sure as hell dont mind considering us an "adult" if we get charged with a crime or if a fucking war breaks out and we have to go fight it

  20. WHAT HAPPENED TO FREEDOM OF CHOICE!!! I can go into the army and possibly get raped or killed, but I can't even vape something that won't harm me.

  21. Life is a fucking addictive behavior! Do you know how many fat people are in america are sipping on sodi-pops all day!? Ban fast food and pop if you care about the youth!

  22. I went to buy an e-liquid without even any nicotine and they said I couldn't buy it (I'm 20). He said a new bill was passed and I was flabbergasted to learn that, luckily he was a chill dude πŸ˜‰

  23. Sorry. But it is a good thing I'm not 18. Or there would be conflict with this. Why do we have government telling us. What we can and cannot do with ourselves. This is some way of controlling us. I guess now i will be buying cigarettes for my 19 year old son. Fuckkkk. I thought i was done getting drug out of the house at midnight. I need cigarettes.

  24. "Texas considers teens to be adults at the age of 18, so they should be able to smoke." I agree, but under one condition — to be allowed to start smoking, you need to sign an irrevocable agreement that you will not allowed to EVER collect medical benefits funded by government, for conditions known to be caused in significant part by smoking. Would all of you "they're taking my rights" whiners be willing to sign such an agreement?
