Peru Travel Guide [MACHU PICCHU INCA TRAIL]

Hola mi amigos y amigas Cherry and Trevor here We travelled to the beautiful country of Peru for nine days here are places and things to do while in Peru. Let’s get into it First stop was Peru’s capital city Lima went to Miraflores and its beautiful coastline and headed to San Francisco church and saw some eerie catacombs Which we were not allowed to film. Went to Plaza de Armas Which is the city’s central and we did a lot of walking enjoying the city’s Peruvian and Spanish colonial architecture And of course had loads of fun feeding the cats in Kennedy Park Second stop was Cusco where we did a 2 day Inca trail trek Machu Picchu Viajes Peru First we met our guide Wilfredo, then took the train from Ollantaytambo to kilometer 104 hiked to Winaywayna, saw a lot of cute llamas and endless mountain views along the way Finally we reached the Sun gate and had our first glimpse of Machu Picchu It was an early wake-up call, thanks for our guide Wilfredo who waited in line for us, because of him We caught one of the first buses and the sunrise at Machu Picchu, and let us tell you it was absolutely magical. Machu Picchu is probably one of the most beautiful places we have seen We had a few hours to spare So we hiked to Machu Picchu Mountain. Tip if you still have altitude sickness or just recovered from one Skip the extra hike it made it so much more challenging for me On our last day in Cusco we went to the ever so lively Sacred valley and saw the ruins of Moray and the salt pans of Maras. Do not miss these ones After Cusco We flew to Iquitos then took a three-hour boat ride to Tahuayo Lodge to experience the Peruvian Amazon and it was an extraordinary And wild one We went on a day hike saw monkeys some reptiles tree rats birds and insects Went on a very eerie night hike and saw more monkeys reptiles and more insects Do not touch or grab onto anything on your Amazon trip. Not unless your guide says its safe it could be very dangerous and deadly Went to go fishing and used the simplest fishing rods and caught trouts Piranhas and a pacu fish. Our guide cooked it for our lunch and it was the freshest fish we had We also went to El Chino a small village in the Amazon and learned about simple living
