Orcas Island Getaway – Things To Do

Orcas Island has over 77 miles of shoreline and
averages 247 days of sunshine each year. It’s the perfect getaway for nature lovers. We are at Moran State Park on Orcas Island
and this is one of the glamping tents with LEANTO. Come on in, we’ll show you around. Surrounded by 5,000 acres of natural beauty,
including 5 freshwater lakes and over 30 miles of hiking trails, there is no shortage of
places to explore just outside of your tent! At over 2,400 feet, Mt Constitution is the
highest point on all of the San Juan Islands. How you get to the summit is up to you. Hike, bike, or drive and enjoy spectacular
views from the top! Couple your trip to the summit with a stop
by some of Moran State Park’s best waterfalls, which can be easily accessed via one main
hiking trail off of Mt Constitution Road. Because Moran State Park receives more recognition,
Obstruction Pass State Park is a well-kept secret. Take a one-mile hike down a forested path
to a quiet and relaxing beach. Orcas Island is home to some of the most renowned
artists in the Pacific Northwest. Be sure to stop by one of the many galleries. Even if you’re not staying there, Doe Bay
Resort & Retreat and Rosario Resort & Spa are great places on the island to explore
and enjoy a meal. And a visit to Orcas Island’s main village,
Eastsound is a must! Enjoy boutique shops, cafes, art galleries,
and more. Start planning your visit to Orcas Island
